Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 12.5’C + 12.7’C
Depth: 8.9m + 6.2m
Visibility: 1.0m – 3.0m
Number of Sharks: 0 + 0
Conditions: Flat seas with an increasing wind causing some afternoon chop on the water.

Back on the water again today with the hopes that today would be the day that we finally were able to see White sharks after two weeks of no sightings. However today appears to not be that day with no sharks seen around the boat on neither the first trip or the second.

Both trips did have a Cape Fur seal present, swimming around the boat and cage and the second trip saw a small pod of Humpback dolphins cruising through the bay.

We look forward to the day that we can say that the White sharks of Gansbaai are back!
