We launched to a beautiful sunrise spreading shades of red and orange across the bay. The clouds in the sky always make the sunrise even more stunning. It didn’t take long for our first small shark to make a splash, but sadly it did not stick around. The second visitor is a repeat from the past week. She is around 3.7m and it quite distinctive due to the missing tip on her tail.  Unfortunately, the rest of the trip proved to be a bit slow.  It was wonderful to have some young kids on board today.  The genuine enthusiasm and excitement from their young minds is always impressive.  I wish everyone could develop a love of sharks at their age.For the second outing today, we didn’t wait long for a shark. And my word what a shark! Clocking in at around 5.5m this was a big shark! We had some awesome passes from this shark on the first cage, and then activity dipped a little. Only for Clampy to pop up and say hello crusing by the cage very nicely. Towards the end of the trip we got a nice pass from the 3.5m male that is scratched up and down both his flanks. Otherwise another great day on the water!
