Our first trip this morning launched nice and early out of Kleinbaai Harbour. It was a short wait for our sharks to turn up this morning and just when we least expected it our first shark came slowly in! Not far behind this one was another, both males and similar in size and each with damage to the tip of their caudal fins, one with a blunt tip the other with a v-shape tip. These two acted quite shy for the first 10 or so minutes before things started to heat up, after this the activity seen on this trip was “fin”tastic. A total of eight different sharks showed up with the largest, a male, measuring in at approximately 4.0m! The second trip headed out and picked up where the first trip left. This trip saw the sharks approaching almost instantly, after our divers were in their suits it was time to jump in the cage. Not only was the shark activity great today but the visibility was still looking good and made it a lot easier for out divers to see the sharks! The largest shark on this trip, and for the day, was a 4.2m individual, we were very lucky to see such a massive and majestic great white! Thank you all for an amazing day out at sea…
