Thank you for SUCH a perfect day, see you very soon! Steph and Natasha, Denmark

One of the most impressive things to see in life is a great white shark. However, to see a 5 meter long great white shark is an experience all on its own! At this size they retain a similar girth to that of a small bus (or so it looks like from standing above them!). On the first trip, we only had eight guests from the Semester at Sea cruise and our volunteers, it was as if we had an exclusive trip with our very own enormous shark to keep us entertained! We returned to the same location with a full boat of passengers in the afternoon. Unfortunately the visibility had dropped quite substantially and we struggled to get our divers to see the sharks. However we did manage in the end to get everybody a look at a shark from underwater (who wanted one!)  however clearer sightings were definitely from on board the boat itself. That is the changeable nature of the ocean we work in, especially between seasons in the Atlantic!

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then White Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
