Conditions: Overcast with some choppy seas, but as the day went on the swell died down and cloud cover parted,although winds picked up
Three trips on Slashfin today, after a day off sea due to bad weather. Not knowing what to expect, our first trip was relieved to see our sharks were still around and active! Very high algae levels in the water made for bad visability, but the sharks still made their presence known clearly to our divers, makeing some very close passes in front the cage! Our second trip had even more activity, and was also greeted by a shark with some very interesting bite marks on its side, one making a definite ‘X’! Very cool! Unfortunately the shark activity died down for our third trip, but we still had some very solid passes and sightings from the cage and the boat, making our clients very happy! Always a surprise after a day off sea, you just never know what to expect!
