The first trip of the day headed out to the dive site and had an all round fantastic trip! A number of shark visited the boat, many being very active in their movements around the cage. A real treat for our divers. Not to mention a large female who was quite intent on getting hold of the bait and decoy lines, giving some fantastic breaches for our guests on board the boat as well! The first trip was also treated to a trip over to Shark Alley to have a look at our Cape Fur Seal population over on Gyser rock! Lucky! Our second launch was slightly delayed due to road closures, but the wait was definitly worth it once we got out! A very large female shark we crew didn’t recognise was the first to appear around the boat, making some calm passes at the cage initially, but returning later on to give some amazing breaches along with the large female from the first trip! It’s always a wonder to see such large sharks being active and playing just as much as some of the smaller juviniles!I guess you never can know with these awesome predators what they’ll do when the mood takes them…
