What a difference a day can make! After close to a week of clear skies and calm seas we headed out today to overcast skies threatening to pour down on us at any second, but this did nothing to discourage the divers aboard Slashfin, neither did it discourage the stars of the day, the Great White Sharks! During both trips we were visited by a bunch of different sharks that were all more than happy to come in nice and close to the cage and stay near to the surface! Most days we hear at the least one diver quote the famous line from Jaws… ’You’re going to need a bigger boat!’… well today it would have been more appropriate to hear ‘You’re going to need a bigger cage’ as a shark the size of our cage came cruising into view leaving everyone in awe! The action continued with “Riley” one of the satellite tagged sharks who was nice enough to joins us during both trips today. He continues to be a crowd pleaser with his fast paced turns and leaps out of the water! What a wet ‘n wild day out on the water…
