Yet another beautiful day in Kleinbaai with the sun shining and perfect conditions out on the water! We started our first trip with a close encounter from “Rosi” as she visited the boat again, never disappointing. The trip continued with an array of visits from large sharks including our large male in the bay at the moment, “Freckles”! Divers were also delighted to see the Short-Tailed Stingray coming up from the depths to investigate the bait and decoy. The fun didn’t end in the cage, we were also treated to a large pod of Bottlenose dolphins surrounding the boat as we headed back into the harbour. The second trip of the day proved just as successful! We once again sighted the dolphin pod as we headed out, including a mother and calf swimming together. The shark action continued on from the first trip, the majority of sharks being over 3m, with our largest of the day a very active 4.3m individual! As if we weren’t already having a magnificent day, as we were on the way back we spotted a sunfish, estimated to be over 2m in size, cruising the surface in search of some jellyfish for dinner! We couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable day out in the bay…
