The day started off windy with overcast skies but to everyone’s delight the sun did make an appearance. It took a while before we saw a shark but when we did everyone was really excited and the passengers got to see some great views! Unfortunately we didn’t see any more sharks but we were all treated to some fantastic southern right whale sightings. A mother and calf passed our boat and the calf even surprised us by breaching which is always a brilliant sight. While it’s impossible to predict what we see out at sea the surprise makes it all worthwhile!
