Wow, what a day! The past few days we have had trouble with weather conditions and also with finding the sharks, however today we saw a complete turnaround with lovely weather and sea conditions and also great shark action! The first shark to show up for the day on our morning trip was a beauty known as “Flappy”, a 4.0m female named so due to an injury she received on her snout some time ago. Whilst this shark is of awe inspiring size she is also extremely active! We also had the pleasure of a small male juvenile show up during our morning trip by the name of “Mini Nemo” thanks to his stunted right pectoral fin. The good conditions continued into our afternoon trip however it appeared that the shark action had slowed down, that is until “Flappy” showed up again and gave all on board the exhilarating experience of a seeing a large Great White Shark leaping out of the water! A wonderful day out in the bay…
