Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Cold

Visibility: Moderate

Sightings:  Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal + African penguins

Summary: It was an early and grey morning for our guests today. As soon as we set off from Kleinbaai harbor, we came across a raft of endangered African penguins in the water. Our guests were mesmerized by these amazing little creatures. Soon after we anchored in “The Shallows”, we spotted our first Bronze Whaler shark near the boat. Additionally, two very cheeky Cape fur seals were seen hunting and diving around the cage. Despite the not-so-warm weather today, we had a great trip. We want to thank all our brave guests for joining us so early in the morning.
