Trip Comments:
After quite some days with strong easterly winds today was a very calm day out at sea. The visibility was still good with 2.5m on average. After a beautiful ride (Including a spectacular sunrise) out of the harbor towards Joubertsdam it didn’t take long at all for sharks to show up. The first shark that showed up today was little lumpy. She was active but not as active as we have seen her the last couple of days. The second trip was a short one with some South African sports stars, comedians and other celebrities joining us to see some White sharks. A 4m female showed up and stole the show. On the third trip, little lumpy was the first shark to show up again, this time being as active as we know her, pulling off a lot of breaches inches in front of the cage. We ended the trip with a ride along the shore to see if we could spot some more marine life. We saw quite some birds including Sub Antarctic skuas.
