Today was Slashfin’s first day back out on the water since Friday with no sharks sighted in the bay since Wednesday the 8th of February. The team and guests headed to the Islands to have a cruise through Shark Alley and look at the Cape Fur seal colony on Geyser Rock then headed behind the Islands to anchor. The choice was made to try the Island area today as whilst this is generally our Winter diving area other companies have had no luck in our Summer anchor site of the Shallows and the Islands is where we had our first sighting of a White shark after the 21 day period of no shark sightings in January 2016. Unfortunatly today was not the day that we would yet again see the White sharks.

We hope to have some good news soon, news which can be followed here on our daily blog page or Marine Dynamics Facebook page here.
