Trip 1
We launched bright and early this morning to a lovely day out in the bay. We headed towards the Islands and settled in the Geldsteen where our first shark arrived not long after we ourselves arrived. We had some great shark activity this morning with “Fishing Line Shark” AKA “Lucky” turning up to the boat early on in the trip and showcasing some beautiful activity and also the estimated 3.3m male named “Sellendilloh” who sports a satellite tag as attached by Ocearch in 2012 and of which you can find more information on their website here.

Trip 2
The second trip of the day was an exclusive for a family of four visiting from America. We headed out and had our first shark as they were changing into their wetsuits. This was a large female we know quite well even though she does not show up too often and has a habit of leaving us after only a few minutes, this however was not an issue as more sharks arrived soon after she left. This trip saw constant activity with our divers having to take deep breathes as we continuously yelled out shark! We saw a few of our well known animals around during this trip including “Bruce” a small shark adopted recently and also one of our acoustically tagged animals “Sharky Mc Sharkface”.

Trip 3
The third and final trip of the day was another exclusive for four ladies joining us from the United Arab Emirates who had come to the area just to see the White sharks. Yet again we had sharks very quickly after arriving back on anchor, many of the same sharks we had seen earlier on in the day including “Bruce”, “Sharky McS Sharkface” and “Fishing Line Shark”.

Three fantastic shark cage diving trips today.
