With pretty calm conditions out there today although a little gloomy this morning, our spirits were high in anticipation of spotting some sharks in the shallows. After gearing up on our first trip we didn’t have to wait long before one of our copper friends popped up to greet us good morning. This large copper shark has a fresh and pretty significant bite mark around the right hand side of its face, probably from another copper shark! This shark was soon joined by a few more individuals, notably the copper shark that has a snub nose and looks like a bull shark! She was very active around the cage today and our cage divers were super happy getting face to face with these stunning sharks. With sightings of humpback dolphins, swarms of cape cormorants and even a cheeky cape fur seal we were treated to a plethora of wildlife viewing on Slashfin today.
