Conditions: Flat seas with a slight wind and clear skies.

Trip 1
This morning we were greeted with bleak, grey skies threating to rain down on us and thats exactly what it did as we were preparing to leave the Great White House for Slashfin. The rain thankfully did not stick around long and once on anchor we had a dry morning except of course those who went in the cage. The first shark was spotted on anchor in the distance and within 20 minutes we had a shark approach right infront of the cage. This was a juvenile female we had seen yesterday with some distinctive markings on her dorsal fin, a shark that was sighted for most of the trip as she came and went around the other sharks. The second shark of the trip was a large male and infact was the largest of the morning measuring in at approximately 3.7m in length, however the most active shark of the trip measured only slightly smaller with “Mini Rosie” appearing towards the end of the trip causing quite a stir with her beautiful behaviour.

Trip 2
With the clouds disappearing and the sun coming out the second trip started where the first finished, literally, with “Mini Rosie” re-appearing within five minutes of our arrival. She stayed for much of the trip especially the first and second cage but disappeared for moments when other sharks appeared especially some of the larger ones we had this afternoon. We had many of the sharks from the first trip return for this trip aswell however we did have the addition of a large, clean and pale coloured female that made stunning ambuch approaches on the bait and decoy lines providing fantastic views of this shark out of the water.
