This morning was our first trip out on the water since Friday and whilst we had a very friendly Cape Fur seal visiting for most of the trip we did not have a shark sighting. The second trip of the day did not have anymore success than the first with a Short-tailed stingray sighted but no White sharks. It has now been 11 days since we have had a White shark sighting as is the same for many of the other boats in the area, we are still unsure about what may have caused the scarcity of sharks in the area with many factors known and unknown that can be influential in their disappearance.
We truly appreciate the patience and understanding of the guests that joined us today and over the last week and a half and we are all hoping that we will have positive shark sightings to report on very soon.
