Rise and shine cage divers its’ time to see some White sharks! A beautiful sunrise met us as we headed out, the first boat into the bay we anchored and prepared for the morning. Not long after our first shark arrived, a fantastic sign after the last slow month and a half. We had some amazing activity this morning with some of the usual suspects in the bay coming to play. This included “Rosie” and the medium sized female with a parasite patch on her head. As we approached the last cage things started to slow down with a change of wind direction thus change in the scent trail, however after a short move we had two juveniles show up and the female with the parasites made a re-appearance. The second trip of the day headed out and we yet again didn’t have to wait too long till the first shark was sighted. Whilst the activity on this trip wasn’t as full on as the first it was still a great trip with a number of the sharks from the first trip showing up again and some new additions including a nice sized male we have seen about the bay over the last few days! A very enjoyable day out in the bay…
