Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Cold

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Cape fur seals + African penguins

Summary: Another day on the water without any shark sightings, but we were fortunate to experience other incredible marine wildlife. As we headed towards Shark Alley, we encountered our vibrant colony of Cape fur seals. On Dyer Island, we had the pleasure of spotting some magnificent African penguins. On our way back around Dager Point, we were treated to the sight of a raft of African penguins and glimpses of a shy Bryde’s whale staying deep below the surface. We also enjoyed some spectacular seabird sightings! Thank you to all our guests for joining us today!
