Sharks all day long, what more could one ask for? We had a great day at sea today, were all guests and crews saw between 4 to 5 sharks varying from 1.8m upto 3.3m. For a change, we did not see our usual “friends” that interact with us on a daily basis but have seen a couple of new faces as our Marine Biologist on board identified their significant marks whilst everyone admired their beauty. A particular shark that was spotted on every trip is a juvenile 2.4m female with distinctive scars and bite marks has showed great activity as she teased our decoy handler quite a bit giving everyone in and out of the cage a good show. Another beauty was a large 3.3m female that we had seen a few times last week. What really was a delight to see is the change of character. Last week that female was really active chasing the decoy at every change and giving a spectacle to all her audience. Today, she showed us different colours as she was very precise in her every move demonstrating only elegance and delicatesse. We were all very pleased to spot some southern right whales playing in the distant waters. A magical day out on the water…
