Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Cape fur seals, African penguins & Humpback whales

Summary: Today, sharks remained elusive, however beautiful conditions and abundant wildlife sightings made for a fantastic day on the water. Visiting Geyser Rock, the Cape fur seal colony impressed guests with their abundance and agility in the water, with neighboring African penguins on Dyer Island perching near the water for great views of this local colony. The second trip were even able to witness these birds in the water, with a large raft showing off their abilities within the waves. To top it all off, two Humpback whales were sighted near Danger Point, an exciting sight for guests and crew alike!
