Location: The Shallows
Water Temperature: 18.7

Depth: 11 m

Visibility: 1.5 m

Number of Sharks: First Trip (5 Sharks) – Second Trip (7 Sharks)

Conditions: Choppy waters with a strong SE wind.

The first trip of the day went out early doors on the hunt for some white shark action. After a bit of a wait 5 sharks frequented the area. One of which was approximately 4 m in length. A second shark, Mandy, a white shark with a distinctive white scratch down her back and a white pigmentation on her left side of her dorsal fin also showed up at the bait.

The second trip had sharks around the boat before we could even set anchor. Action from start to finish with the same two sharks mentioned from the first trip, and 5 other juvenile white sharks showing interest. With seven white sharks, two short tailed stingrays and a juvenile giant petrel observed on this trip, it was a hugely satisfying and successful trip out on the blue!
