The crew of Slashfin and our guests tried again today to see if the White sharks of Gansbaai had returned and yet again we were met with a trip void of any sightings. We tried our best in the Shallows for three hours before making our way to the Islands to have a quick look at the Cape Fur seals on Geyser Rock.

For those interested in what has been happening in the area and the reasons we believe behind the flight response of the White sharks out of the bay please look at this blogged timeline of events.

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in South Africa, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book and pay online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
