What a beautiful day for shark cage diving! We launched from Kleinbaai harbour with the sun shining bright and a light breeze keeping things fresh. Once in the shallows we didn’t have long to wait for our first shark, a smaller individual with scaring and parasites on its head. After this shark we had a familiar large male show up and very slowly circle the boat from a distance before finally becoming a bit more active and coming in nice and close. The trip continued at a similar pace with sharks coming and going. We had two satellite SPOT tagged sharks arrive, one a smaller male individual we have been seeing  a lot of recently and another larger individual, who kept deep, that we have not seen for some time. Towards the end of our trip we had one of our favourite sharks at the moment, a small male with some scaring around its face and snout and a nice notch in its dorsal, pop up for some fast paced action as it turned, tipped and leapt around! Throughout the trip we had a very large flock of Cormorant surrounding us, as they left Dyer Island for a morning feed and clean. Another interesting morning out on Slashfin…
