Seeing 7 Southern Right Whales, 2 predations, 50 000 Cape Fur Seals and numerous Great White Sharks all in one day, so how has your day been so far? It was a very calm day out on the water which made for pleasant cage diving conditions. We had one of the largest sharks in the bay circling our boat today, this female is about 4.5 meters in length and very girthy. Due to the fact that she often lunges towards the bait without displaying any teeth I believe “Toothless” is an appropriate name for her. We also had phenomenal whale sightings and encountered a Southern Right Whale mating group on our way to Shark Alley, very frisky males. We were also lucky enough to spot a predation about 200 meters from the boat, first one in quite some time. An action packed day…
