I wish I could say, the sun has arrived and is here to stay, but only time will tell. We had very pleasant and warm conditions out at sea today, with the sharks just completing the entire experience. After a brief wait, a young male arrived on the scene and flew out of the water in hot pursuit of the bait line. Then the time came to through everyone in the cage, despite a few reluctant souls initially reconsidering the meaning of life! A few very close passes by the cage and this young male’s constant curiosity made for great viewing. We also had a tiny crab braving the jaws of the Great White Shark by hitching a ride on “Sally” our seal decoy. You see something new every day. To complete the days excursion we made a journey towards Shark Alley, where 50 000 Cape Fur Seals were waiting for us. Not a bad day in the office…
