Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 16.6’C
Depth: 11.1m
Visibility: 1m
Number of Sharks: 7
Conditions: Sunny + Warm

The sharks were speedy with their arrival this morning, having 3 different sharks turn up within a 5 minute period! Most of the action was again coming from sharks on the larger side, with only one smaller juvenile measuring around 2.4m. Although we had 7 sharks in total swimming around us today, it was two sharks in particular who were providing most of the entertainment, one male and one female both around 3.7m. The feisty female was of course our favourite one in the bay right now, with the prominent rosi on her dorsal fin, who kept impressing everybody with her incredible turns directly in front of the cage, she truly is a gorgeous shark! With the sun shining and the sharks jumping, there’s no better way to end the week…

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Cage Diving in South Africa, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
