An early start to a very chilly morning today, with our first trip leaving the harbour at sunrise. Two great trips out in the Dam today, despite a bit of a waiting period on the first one. A very large female started the first trip off, with most people fearing the temperature of the water rather than the very large animals. They were all from Florida, makes sense. On our second trip we were lucky enough to see several sharks around the cage at once; the most I counted was five. One of my colleagues happened to be above our boat in a plane, he told me later that they had spotted 9 sharks around our boat at one time. Truly spectacular, with our largest shark measuring in at 4.8 meters in length. An awesome day…
