Today was an incredible day, not only because of the shark activity but also the conditions on the water. It was an incredibly calm day with minimal wind and no swell; best of all was arriving at our dive spot and discovering we had 4m visibility! Our first trip was an exclusive this morning for a German film crew shooting a show, and they had some great passes from a juvenile male measuring around 3.5m. Our second trip brought “Rosie”, the 3.7m female that has become quite the crowd pleaser with her feisty personality. She was jumping after the bait line left and right, and giving the divers incredibly close passes whilst doing it! Our largest shark of the day was a girthy female around 4.3m, boasting a satellite tag at the top of her dorsal fin. We haven’t seen this satellite tagged shark around recently at all, but she’s definitely a beautiful specimen and hopefully we’ll get to see some more of her…
