Today was all about Carcharhinus Brachyurus or what we refer to as Bronze Whalers!! For the second day in a row this other species of shark came to visit our cage diving boat. It is such a rare occurrence that we launched our research vessel, Lwazi, to document the interaction. It was also a great educational opportunity for our guests because we could clearly point out just how different the features are between the 2 species. We always say how special our bay is for marine life and today takes that comment to a new level. You truly never know what you might see. What a special experience for our guests and crew!

If you are looking to get up close and personal with the great white shark then Shark Diving in Gansbaai, and more specifically with Marine Dynamics, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you won’t want to miss. Book online with us and get a free video of your encounter with the world’s apex predator.
