The day started out overcast and gloomy but soon turned into a beautiful sunny day, full of sharks and action! We were happy to arrive at our dive site this morning and find we had roughly 2m visibility, which is the best visibility we’ve seen in about a week or so. Our largest shark of the day, a 4.3m shark, seemed to be suffering from a little stage fright, staying deep and not really coming to the surface. However, the day was dominated by our smaller sharks in the area, with most of them ranging between 2.4m to 3.4m, giving the divers lots of close passes. It was nice to see “Little Roundy” back to his old self today, with continuous passes by the cage and often leaping for the bait line! Just goes to show that bigger isn’t always better…
