We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to be on the water, the sun was beaming, the wind was minimal and the water looked like glass! After an hour and a half of minimal shark activity, we decided to lift anchor this morning and try in slightly deeper albeit slightly cooler waters, and almost instantly there three juvenile sharks circling the boat. Today’s shark activity was made up of mostly the smaller juveniles once again, but when in the water with them they certainly don’t look all that small! We were joined on both trips by “Ninja”, one of our favourite little females, who always provides some nice jumps and toothy shots. One individual, who was being very feisty this morning, turned up with a very peculiar injury, half of her right pectoral fin was bent upwards almost at a 90 degree angle. This injury clearly wasn’t slowing the shark down however, as she gave some proper half-breaches on the decoy! Just another amazing day spent with amazing animals…
