After a slight delay in getting out on the water, we were able to go see some Great White Sharks who were well worth the wait. The first shark of the day was also one of the biggest at 4.5 meters in length. After a shark like that arrives, all other sharks look relatively small in comparison, however the other sharks were still quite large. Some very close passes by the cage were demonstrated by “Maureen”, our 4.6 meter satellite tagged beauty. We concluded a great cage diving trip with a bonus sighting of a Southern Right Whale mother and calf pair just outside the harbour, what a great ending. Great day out on the water…
