Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 14.0’C
Depth: 10.4m
Visibility: 3.0m
Number of Sharks: 15
Conditions: Fog

The waters have cooled back down to around average for this time of year, but the colder water brought with it some great visibility! The trip started off slower today with many of the sharks staying deep, not really approaching the surface for us. But as the divers warmed up to the experience so did the sharks, and before we knew we were sighting two or three sharks at the surface all at the same time! Most of the sharks visiting us were juveniles between the range of 2.5m to 3.5m. Our largest shark of the day was around 4.1m, this shark has visited us a few times over the last two weeks but never fully comes right to the surface, can’t wait for the day she does though! Both “Little Roundy” and “Ninja” showed up towards the end of the trip to provide a fantastic grand finale for us of their famous half breaches! Another impressive day with the sharks…
