Despite the sun not coming out to welcome us to sea, the sharks did make a spectacular appearance! Starting the trip with a light drizzle did not hamper our dive in the slightest, as soon as we had sharks around the boat the rain stopped. Several very large animals kept circling the boat with the largest ones averaging 4.3 meters in length. “Maurreen” made a brief appearance today; she wasn’t up to her usual shenanigans. Just after the end of our shark trip and even after we were on dry land, the heavens decided to let loose. Perfectly timed to welcome us back. All and all a good day for sharks…
