Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 16.8’C
Depth: 12.1m
Visibility: 0.5m
Number of Sharks: 6+10+10
Conditions: Cold wind

After yesterday’s fierce westerly winds the visibility in the bay wasn’t the best today, but it didn’t seem to matter as the sharks were giving the divers in the cage nice close passes! We had quite a few sharks around about the 4.0m mark throughout the day, with our largest shark of the day ringing in at roughly 4.2m. We were fortunate enough to have both “Little Lumpy” and “Little Roundy” join us for another of their spectacular air shows! If that wasn’t enough to please our clients we were treated to a Giant petrel soaring close to the boat and a Southern Right whale tail slapping over and over just off in the distance! Goes to show, we can never know what kind of wildlife to expect when out on the water…
