23/05/2013
Location: Joubertdam
Water Temperature: 14.2 ‘C
Depth: 10.1m
Visibility: 3.0m
Number of Sharks: 12
Conditions: Sunny and calm, with a slight swell.

A change of weather allowed for a slight increase in water temperature and the arrival of Great Whites. We picked up our first two sharks within the first 10 minutes of dropping the anchor in the water, and then we were sharking! Great action from all the sharks with “Malcolm X” and “Nemo” also making an appearance. “Malcolm” still has a piece of string trailing from his gills; hopefully this will get dislodged soon. The visibility dropped as the tripped progressed, but that did not hinder the sharks in the slightest. A great day of shark action…
