Depth: 10m
Visibility: 1.5m
Number of Sharks: 7
Conditions: Overcast

The overcast weather and slight drizzle did not phase us this morning, with the arrival of our first shark within minutes of dropping the cage! The first shark on the scene was one we know quite well, having become such a regular one of our volunteers decided to nickname her “Lukas”, regardless of the fact that she is a 3.2m female! She’s a feisty shark who often loves to go for the bait line and has recently turned up with prominent markings on her left side which look like they may have been caused by another shark. We had three sharks who stuck around from the beginning through the end of the trip, including our largest shark of the day, a 4m female who was trying her luck on the decoy. Great sharks always make for a great day…
