Trip2

24/09/2013
Location:
Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 15.0 ‘C
Depth: 9.5m
Visibility: 3.5m
Number of Sharks: 12
Conditions: Sunny with a bit of wind.

The good visibility was finally upon us today with the added bonus of awesome sharks, the perfect recipe for a great day. We had heaps of sharks around the boat with no waiting time for them to arrive on the scene. “Big Spot” was looking bigger than ever when viewed side by side to some of the smaller Great Whites around the boat. We spotted the same satellite tagged shark which we saw yesterday and “Smooth Tip Dorsal” made an appearance today, haven’t seen this female for a few months and wasn’t expecting to see her again this year. It’s fantastic to see these old friends from the past pop in to say hello, it was if they had never left. Great time on the water with great people. Thanks everyone…
