Today was one of those days where so much happened it’s hard to keep track of it all! We were spoiled with the speedy arrival of our sharks this morning, and the incredibly warm waters. Our first shark of the day was one we know quite well, based on a large chunk that has been taken out of the dorsal fin. This shark was leaping after the decoy and bait line one after another, and didn’t once wear herself out, as she stuck with us from the beginning of our first trip through the end of our second trip. The numerous amounts of feeding Cape Cormorants and Cape Gannets around, told us that there was an abundance of fish in the area and the presence of a small pod of Bottlenose dolphins, on our way back into the harbour, confirmed it for us. Tagging along in the centre of the Bottlenose dolphin pod was one singular Humpback dolphin, likely just joining them for a snack! It was yet another amazing day in the office…
