A special trip out for Wilderness Safaris this afternoon took us to Joubertsdam to see the sharks in the shallows. They didn’t disappoint with the first sightings within minutes of our arrival. We were about 4 sharks in when the giant female arrived; this shark has been sighted a couple of times over the last week and is comfortably over 5 meters in length – in other words she’s absolutely massive!! Our divers all got to see her close by and she’s testament to just how big these sharks can be. After diving we made our way to Shark Alley where we saw African Penguins and Cape Fur Seals before making our way home at sunset.
