Today was a very special day for me as my parents joined me for a cage dive for the first time ever. The sea was prefect, flat calm and no one got seasick! The trip started with bright sunshine but later fog rolled in. The shark activity was great; 11 in total, some pretty large ones, Nemo and the SPOT tagged shark Maurine, who’s just returned from Mozambique. It was especially nice to show my parents Nemo who was on my first ever cage dive, my brothers first ever cage dive 3 years later and my parents first 3 years after that! Really this is a special shark, very dear to my heart and Clarence even pointed out she should be called Nemo Jewell now!! Fantastic trip, a great group and I think we all had a wonderful time with the sharks this afternoon!
