Location: Joubertsdam
Water Temperature: 15.8’C
Depth: 12.0m
Visibility: 3.0m
Number of Sharks: 7+7
Conditions: Overcast with wind

After hearing rumours of the sharks being slow in the bay today, we were pleasantly surprised to have our first shark within minutes of anchoring! The overcast weather gave the sharks the perfect conditions for sneak attacks from the deep; Sally, our seal decoy, took a good few hits! Our biggest shark was the same on both our first and second trip, a male ringing in at a length of about 4.0m. The flying sharks were great for viewing from the deck and the 3.0m visibility gave the divers in the cage excellent views of the up close passes in the water. All in all another fantastic day in the office…
