We hoped the first day of May would bring us some luck after a miss trip yesterday afternoon however after entering the Shallows and waiting close to two hours with no sightings for Marine Dynamics or any other boat we decided to give the Islands a chance. We anchored next to Geyser Rock, the Cape Fur seal colony and spent the next hour or so giving it our best. Although some of our guests gave it their best and went for a dip in the cage in the hopes of enticing any sharks in the area it unfortunately looked like no sharks for the morning. We passed closer to the Islands for a better look at the seals basking in the sun and headed back to land. Sadly no sharks but a great group to spent a morning out on the water with!
The second trip headed out and like our first trip and all other trips had by any other company in the area no sharks were seen. We are uncertain as to what is happening in the bay at the moment, with a full day of no sightings by any boat out on the water.
We hope to have some good news soon and extend our thanks to our guests for their patience and understanding, highly appreciated.
