Our first trip launched from Gansbaai harbour this morning due to low tides inhibiting use of our local harbour in Kleinbaai. The trip around Danger point was lovely and calm however, and we even spotted some Southern Right Whales on the way to the dive site! Once ancored down we had almost no time to wait before our first of many sharks appeared around the boat and started to awe and amaze our guests for the duration of the trip! Some truely fantastic sharks visited Slashfin on this trip, with almost no breaks in activity! The second trip of the day left from Kleinbaai and were incredibly lucky to encounter a Southern Right and her calf who was a Brindled Right Whale! Definitly started this trip on a very high note with this abnormal sighting off Slashfin! The Sharks were only slightly less present than on the first trip, still giving the crew and passengers on our cage diving boat some really amazing views. Day’s like today are always reminding us all just how amazing our marine life is!
