Conditions: Clear skies with only slight swell and low wind which picked up towards the end of the second trip.

 

The first trip had some fantastic sharks around the boat throughout the trip, only half an hour’s wait after arriving at our dive site, with almost constant activity by numerous sharks, and even a partial breach off the front of the boat! An amazing experience for our morning’s guests, who even told our second trip’s clients it was “an experience of a lifetime” as we were changing over in the harbor. And they were definitly right today! The second trip was treated to some fantastic breaching Southern Right Whales on the way to the dive site, a real treat for our guests as this is very infrequently seen off of Slashfin! The sharks then proceeded to be equally as amazing, with some fantastic activity to rival that of the first trip. Between the whales and the sharks it truely was a fantastic trip out at sea for both our clients on board and the crew themselves! Always shows you can never know what to expect with these beautiful animals, as they never cease to amaze!
