Anchored at the mouth of Shark Alley today, it wasn’t long before we had our first shark swimming around the cage; and it just so happened to be “Double Dot” the 4.2m female we know quite well! She narrowly missed the title of largest shark, as a rather active 4.3m female turned up about half way through the trip giving everyone on board a show as she lunged for the bait line and decoy. All of the sharks were on the larger side today, impressing everyone on board, with our smallest shark measuring in around 3.4m. We made a quick stop in Shark Alley to view the seals on Geyser Rock before our adventurous ride back to harbour in the strong west winds; looks like a fresh winter storm may be brewing…
