We were back on the water today after a one day break due to some strong winds and large swells yesterday. What a beautiful day it turned out to be…we had clear skies, a light refreshing breeze, warm waters and some of the best visibility we have had in the last week or so. Our first trip started off a bit slow but after a little patience the sharks showed up! A 3.7 meter shark broke the silence and gave a nice jumping show! The second trip of the day saw sharks immediately around the boat however it took them a while to warm up as we had a few shy passes before a large individual, approx. 3.5m came in and leapt around before making way for a feisty juvenile that entertained during our last two cages. Our third trip had a beautiful and active shark from the first minute, the shark who we have nicknamed “Notch”, due to a rounded notch in the dorsal fin, stayed and showed off for a while, unfortunately a large stingray interfered with the shark and he disappeared, but hopefully did everyone got a nice glimpse of him! A beautiful day out in the bay…
