The sharks were getting up close and personal today with their passes right in front of the cage… 

Today was one of those days where you just cannot believe your luck… 

Despite the strong west winds and choppy conditions, we had a fantastic trip today…

Both trips were on the slower side today, not with quantity or quality of sharks, but rather the wait time between passes…

We left from Gansbaai harbour this morning due to the low tide and made the beautiful journey round Danger Point to our dive site in Joubertsdam… 

Everything seemed to be working in our favour today…

Today goes to show it’s all about the luck of the draw when working with wild animals…

We had the sharks around us instantly today…

Today was one of those days where so much happened it’s hard to keep track of it all…

The overcast weather and slight drizzle did not phase us this morning, with the arrival of our first shark within minutes of dropping the cage…
